Where does the data come from?
The source of truth is the CBP general aviation airport catalog and the CBP airport fact-sheet PDFs. We mirror the PDFs, extract text, run normalization on the backend, and keep version history for changes.
Is this replacing the official CBP document?
No. The site is designed to make the information easier to find and compare. Each airport profile keeps a direct link to the mirrored current PDF and archived versions when available.
What is the difference between user-fee and international/free airports here?
User-fee status is shown exactly as it appears in the normalized source content. Airports without an explicit user-fee designation remain unknown rather than guessed. See the user-fee airport guide or browse the user-fee airport list.
How current is the information?
Every mirrored fact sheet keeps its discovered date and change history. The site is structured so the ingest process can run on a schedule and rebuild the public profiles automatically after updates.
