CBP Preclearance facility
The FBO will escort passengers and crew through security and into the CBP Preclearance facility for processing. Be prepared Copies of CDC Dog Import Form and rabies certificate must be submitted by the FBO at time of appointment request. CBP, Irish Immigration, and FBO will escort passengers and crew to the aircraft for inspection. Passengers and crew will wait in vehicle on tarmac until the CBP inspection is complete.

- The FBO will escort passengers and crew through security and into the CBP Preclearance facility for processing. Be prepared to present all documentation during processing (passports, visas, permanent resident cards, purchase receipts, etc.).
- Copies of CDC Dog Import Form and rabies certificate must be submitted by the FBO at time of appointment request. Check CDC website (cdc.gov) for current importation procedures.
- CBP, Irish Immigration, and FBO will escort passengers and crew to the aircraft for inspection.
- Passengers and crew will wait in vehicle on tarmac until the CBP inspection is complete.

- The requested CBP appointment time should reflect the time passengers and crew are expected to present themselves to CBP (not aircraft arrival time).
- Preclearance services can only be approved for aircraft arriving at an airport with a USDA compliance agreement in place. Check CBP website for airports where CBP services are normally available for general aviation aircraft.
- Key Guidelines for Food and Agriculture Items: o Food products - caterers: please ensure compliance with USCBP/Agriculture regulations. o Food products - passengers and crew: all food products will be inspected o Fruits and Vegetables: fresh fruits and vegetables are prohibited. Dried (except citrus), cooked, and canned fruits/ vegetables are permitted. o Meats: meats from animals with four legs (ie: Beef, lamb, pork…) are prohibited, regardless of the packaging (that includes sealed, vacuum packed, in soup or sauce mixes…). Dried meat purchased in the U.S. and being returned unopened with the USDA logo intact is permissible. o Poultry: is permissible when fully cooked. o Fish: is permitted. o Cheese: hard cheese is permitted (i.e.: Cheddar…) o Declaration and Inspection: all food items on board the aircraft must be declared to CBP at the time your passport is checked.
