Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP prior to departure from the foreign port or place and at least one business day in advance of the anticipated arrival time at KAMA. Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must contact CBP to re-secure permission to land.

• Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (KAMA/AMA) is staffed Monday through Friday from 0830-1700 Central Standard Time (CST), excluding Federal Holidays.
• For after hour flights, landing and departure requests must be received no later than 12:30 PM CST.
• For weekend and holiday flights, all landing and departure requests must be made no later than 12:30 PM CST the Friday prior to the weekend or Thursday if that Friday is a holiday.
• After Hours and Weekend services are billed for these arrivals under the Reimbursable Service Program (RSP) and prior coordination must be made. This service is charged by the fixed-base operator (FBO) under the Reimbursable Services Program at the time of arrival.
• Available FBOs are Signature Aviation and Haven.
• Advise CBP if transporting live animals, weapons, hunting trophies, or commercial imports.
