Hours of Service for Entrance 
and Clearance 
Inspection services for the entrance/
arrival of aircraft at Bangor 
International Airport are generally 
available seven days per week, 
0600- 2200 in accordance with the 
port's permission to land procedures 
(see special procedures below).
Commercial aircraft operators 
departing the U.S. must obtain an 
outbound clearance by contacting 
CBP directly. 
Permission to Land Procedures 
Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP 
during regular business hours, 24 hours in advance of 
intended arrival. 
Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 
minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, 
previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must 
contact the CBP port to re-secure permission to land. 
Inspection Process 
• The Bangor Tower will direct aircraft where to park upon arrival.
• Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot’s license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, etc.
upon the Officer's arrival plane-side.
• Regulated waste/garbage will be collected by the FBO from the aircraft crew.
Special Procedures/Miscellaneous 
• Service is available 24X7 for RSP participants (with approval in advance).
• After hours has limited availability with Supervisory approval 24 hours in advance.
• In-flight Emergency Landing 24X7, notify SECTOR Communications.
• Request permission to land during regular operating hours 24 hours in advance of arrival by sending 
an email to KBGR_GAP@cbp.dhs.gov; CBP will review and reply accordingly. CBP will request an 
updated ETA on date of arrival once it is known.
