- Passengers and crew will be processed on the aircraft.
- For those that are unable to be processed on the aircraft, Signature will escort them to the FIS and return them to aircraft when processing is complete.
- Passengers and crew should be prepared to present valid entry documents.
- Crew should also be prepared to present pilots license, medical certificate and user fee decal (if appropriate).
- Regulated waste will be handled by Signature.
Procedures
Permission to Land
Commercial aircraft operators departing the U.S. must obtain an outbound clearance by contacting CBP directly. Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP prior to departure from the foreign port or place and at least 24 hours in advance of the anticipated arrival time at KBOS. Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must contact the CBP port to re-secure permission to land.
