Inspection Process
- Aircraft must park at designated FBO (Fixed-Base Operator) parking area.
- All crew and passengers must be prepared to present passport's & valid US VISA's.
- If aircraft is registered as a signatory carrier must let FBO know and all passengers must be a citizen of a VISA Waiver Country. If they are not a citizen of a VISA Waiver Country, they must have a valid US VISA.
- Captain must be prepared to present pilot's license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, & user fee decal receipt or sticker a fixed to aircraft.
- All regulated waste/garbage must be doubled bagged and ready to be turned over to FBO's contracted garbage handler.
- If aircraft wishes to do a partial clearance of stores and catering, it must be made within 48-72 hours before aircraft arrives at CBP Honolulu.

Inouye International Airport are generally available 7 days per week, 24 hours per day in accordance with the port's permission to land procedures. Commercial aircraft operators departing the U.S. must obtain an outbound clearance by contacting CBP directly. Permission to Land Procedures Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP prior to departure from the foreign port or place and at least two hours in advance of the anticipated arrival time at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must contact the CBP port to re-secure permission to land.
