Inspection services for the entrance/
arrival of aircraft at William Fairchild 
International Airport are available 7 
days per week, 0800-2100 in 
accordance with the port's permission 
to land procedures.  
Commercial aircraft operators 
departing the U.S. must obtain an 
outbound clearance by contacting 
CBP directly. 
Permission to Land Procedures 
Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP 
prior to departure from the foreign port or place and at 
least one hour in advance of the anticipated arrival time at 
KCLM.
Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 
minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, 
previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must 
contact CBP to re-secure permission to land.  
Inspection Process 
• Aircraft should park in the box marked "CBP" in front of the main terminal.
• A CBP Officer will meet the aircraft on the ramp to begin the inspection.
• No one should depart the aircraft area prematurely.
• Be prepared to present passports, visas, and user fee decal (if appropriate).
Special Procedures/Miscellaneous 
• Permission to land is only granted via verbal confirmation from a CBPO or an email confirmation.
• Remember to get the CBPO's name.
• There is no CBP officer staffed full time at this location.
• CBP Officers will be dispatched from the downtown Port Angeles, WA office to service aircraft
arrivals at this airport; for this reason, accurate ETAs and timely updates to ETAs are critical.
• Ferry arrival takes precedence. 0740, 1200, 1630 and 2100 Summer time and 1200, 1730 and 2100
off- 
season.
