Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP prior to departure from the foreign port or place and at least one hour in advance of the anticipated arrival time at KCLM. Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must contact CBP to re-secure permission to land.

• Permission to land is only granted via verbal confirmation from a CBPO or an email confirmation.
• Remember to get the CBPO's name.
• There is no CBP officer staffed full time at this location.
• CBP Officers will be dispatched from the downtown Port Angeles, WA office to service aircraft arrivals at this airport; for this reason, accurate ETAs and timely updates to ETAs are critical.
