Aircraft should park at CBP Ramp located at Atlantic Aviation Facility Air Traffic / Ground can direct Pilots to CBP Ramp. A CBP Officer will meet the aircraft on the ramp for inspection however do not leave area until CBP Contact FBO for regulated trash services (Atlantic Aviation 503-331-4220)

Inspection Process

  • Aircraft should park at CBP Ramp located at Atlantic Aviation Facility (unless directed to process at PDX International Terminal).
  • Air Traffic / Ground can direct Pilots to CBP Ramp.
  • A CBP Officer will meet the aircraft on the ramp for inspection however do not leave area until CBP officer arrives for inspection.
  • Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilots license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, and user fee decal (if appropriate).

Procedures

Permission to Land

Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP Portland, OR prior to departure from the foreign port or place and at least one business day in advance of the anticipated arrival time at KPDX. Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must contact CBP to re-secure permission to land.
