GA ramp at the FIS
Primary parking for GA arrivals; tower may redirect due to limited space.
FIS
All crew and passengers are processed inside the FIS.
Park on the GA ramp at the FIS unless instructed otherwise; tower may direct to a staging ramp if space is limited.
Inspection Process
- Aircraft should park on the GA ramp at the FIS unless instructed otherwise.
- The airport control tower may direct you to another staging ramp due to limited space on the GA ramp.
- Pilot can call the public number to notify CBP of their arrival on the GA ramp
- A CBP Officer will meet the aircraft on the ramp to begin the inspection.
- All crew and passengers will be processed inside the FIS.
- Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot’s license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, and user fee decal (if appropriate).
- Regulated waste/garbage will be collected by CBP from the aircraft crew.
- Passengers can depart directly from FIS at the conclusion of their inspection.

Commercial aircraft operators departing the U.S. must obtain an outbound clearance by contacting CBP directly.
