Inspection Process
- Once your aircraft blocks at the North FIS, the pilot must secure the aircraft, crew, and passengers until CBP advises otherwise. A CBP officer will meet the aircraft.
- All crew and passengers must make passport, VISA, medical, aircraft registration available for inspection.
- Be prepared for all passengers and crew regardless of citizenship to disembark the aircraft for processing and inspection inside the CBP FIS.
- CBP will advise the crew members when inspection is complete.
- All international trash must be taken to Cerulean FBO for disposal.

All overtime is billed by Cerulean. If individual or party does not wish to participate in the RSP then the flight can be scheduled for arrival, Monday-Friday, 0800-1600.
- Pilots should be aware that permission to land can be denied if inspection services cannot be provided.
- It is the pilot's responsibility to contact CBP with any changes to the flight.
- Leaving a voicemail, being placed on RSP, or simply filing APIS is not considered permission to land. See special procedures below for after hours and weekend service. Commercial aircraft operators departing the U.S. must obtain an outbound clearance by contacting CBP directly. Permission to Land Procedures Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP directly via telephone, during regular office hours, prior to departure from foreign and at least one business day in advance of the anticipated arrival time at Greenville- Spartanburg International Airport. Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes.
