Where to Park

Inspection Process

• Arriving aircraft must park on the FBO (Avflight).
• Crew and passengers must wait in the area of the aircraft until a CBP Officer arrives.
• A CBP Officer will meet the aircraft on the ramp to begin the inspection.
• Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot’s license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, and user fee decal (if appropriate).
• Regulated waste/garbage will be collected from the aircraft crew, by the FBO, under the supervision of CBP, upon completion of the inspection.

Permission to Land

• Email or voicemail requests alone will not constitute permission to land.
• Pilots must secure permission to land by speaking with a Harrisburg CBP Officer or receiving an approval reply via email.
• The Port of Harrisburg has limited staffing, after hours and weekend requests will be limited to officers availability.

Departure

• Inspection services for the entrance/ arrival of aircraft at Harrisburg International Airport are available Monday-Friday, 0800-1630 in accordance with the port's permission to land procedures. Commercial aircraft operators departing the U.S. must obtain an outbound clearance by contacting CBP directly.

Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must contact CBP to re-secure permission to land.
