FBO ramp
Officer meets aircraft on ramp; processing may occur planeside or inside FBO.

Inspection Process
- Aircraft should park on the ramp at the FBO.
- The aircraft control tower can direct you in if needed.
- The FBO is not attached to the FIS or main terminal.
- A CBP Officer will meet the aircraft on the ramp to begin the inspection.
- If an aircraft lands in the U.S. and Customs officers have not arrived, the aircraft commander shall hold the aircraft, and any merchandise or baggage on the aircraft for inspection. Passengers and crewmembers shall be kept in a separate place until Customs officers authorize their departure. See 19 CFR 122.36.
- All crew and passengers will be processed either planeside or inside the FBO at the officer’s discretion.
- Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot’s license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, and user fee decal (if appropriate).
- Regulated waste/garbage will be collected by CBP from the aircraft crew.
- The aircraft can continue to the selected FBO Hangar at the conclusion of their inspection.
