Hours of Service for Entrance 
and Clearance 
Inspection services for the entrance/
arrival of aircraft at St. Louis Lambert 
International Airport are available 
Monday-Friday, 0800-2100 and 
Saturday-Sunday, 1200-2100 in 
accordance with the port's permission 
to land procedures.
Commercial aircraft operators departing 
the U.S. must obtain an outbound 
clearance by contacting CBP directly. 
Permission to Land Procedures 
Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP 
prior to departure from foreign and at least 8 hours in 
advance of the anticipated arrival time at KSTL. 
Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 
minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, 
previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you 
must contact CBP to re-secure permission to land.  
Inspection Process 
• Aircraft should park in the red box at the CBP GAF located to the Northwest of
Signature Flight Support.
• The aircraft control tower can direct you to the GAF if needed.
• The GAF is not attached to the FBO nor the FIS terminal.
• A CBP Officer will meet the aircraft on the ramp to begin the inspection.
• All crew and passengers will be processed inside the GAF.
• Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot's license, medical certificate and user fee decal/user fee
receipt of payment.
• Regulated waste/garbage will be collected by and disposed of by Signature Flight Support staff from the
aircraft crew.
Special Procedures/Miscellaneous 
• After hours flights are granted permission to land on a case-by-case basis, based on availability in
accordance with the port's permission to land procedures and must be coordinated during normal
operating hours.
• Landing Rights outside of business hours not available unless prior arrangements have been
coordinated.
