Inspection Process
- Aircraft should park at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection General Aviation Facility (GAF) Louisville located across from Atlantic FBO.
- A CBP Officer will meet the aircraft to begin the inspection.
- All crew and passengers will be processed inside the GAF.
- Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot’s license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, and user fee decal (if appropriate).
- Regulated waste/garbage will be collected by Atlantic FBO per USDA Compliance Agreement.

Secure permission to land with CBP; park at CBP GAF across from Atlantic FBO (±30 min ETA tolerance).
Appointment
Required- Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP directly during normal business hours and verbally speak with a CBP Officer to secure landings rights for all aircraft.
- After hours arrivals are available by appointment and should be arranged with CBP Officer prior to 1600, Monday through Friday.
- Advise CBP if transporting live animals, weapons, hunting trophies, or commercial imports.
- Cargo flights will park on the cargo ramp and arrangements must be made with Atlantic FBO to transport crew members to GAF for processing.
- Imported cargo must have a CBP entry on file prior to cargo being offloaded.

Commercial aircraft operators departing the U.S. must obtain an outbound clearance by contacting CBP directly.
