• Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot's license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, user fee decal (if appropriate), and overflight approval (if appropriate).

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (KSRQ) is designated as a “user fee airport” [19 CFR 122.1(m);19 CFR 122.15]. Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP no later than 24 hours prior to intended arrival at KSRQ. Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must contact the CBP port to re-secure permission to land.

• Please contact US Customs and Border Protection via email: KSRQ_GAP@cbp.dhs.gov to request permission to land and outbound clearance for SRQ/KSRQ. Requests made after regular office hours will not be processed until the following day.
• Requests for weekend service may be approved on a case-by-case basis. All requests must be made no later than 1300 hours on Friday, no exceptions.
• Flights arriving within one hour or less of closing-time may be diverted to another international airport with CBP Supervisory approval. • Inspection services for the entrance/ arrival of aircraft at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport are available Monday-Friday, 0900-1700, in accordance with the port's permission to land procedures. Commercial aircraft operators departing the U.S. must obtain an outbound clearance by contacting CBP directly.
