Inspection services for the entrance/
arrival of aircraft at KTMB are 
available 7 days per week, 1000-2000 
in accordance with the port's 
permission to land procedures.
Commercial aircraft operators 
departing the U.S. must obtain an 
outbound clearance by contacting 
CBP directly. 
Permission to Land Procedures 
Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting 
CBP CBP a minimum of 2 hours prior to departure 
from the foreign port or place .  
Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 
minutes. If your ETA deviates outside these parameters, 
previously granted permission(s) are invalid and you must 
contact the CBP port to re-secure permission to land. 
Updates to any Estimated Time of Arrival or Departure 
(ETA/ETD), changes in arrival location, or flight cancellation 
must be made immediately by telephone. 
Inspection Process
 
• All aircraft must land (block) at the CBP ramp unless authorized to block at
another location by the airport control tower.
• The aircraft operator must open all crew, passenger, and cargo compartments in the aircraft for
inspection by CBP.
• Inspection of the aircraft on the ramp and supervision of the unloading of baggage, disposal of
regulated waste/garbage, etc., will be conducted by a CBP Officer.
• All crew and passengers with all personal belongings and baggage will be directed to and
processed inside the FIS. The FIS is not attached to the FBO or main terminal.
• Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot’s license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, and
user fee decal (if appropriate).
• Passengers can depart directly from FIS at the conclusion of their inspection.
• No inbound cargo may be imported at Miami Executive Airport.
Special Procedures/Miscellaneous 
• Flights arriving at Miami Executive Airport (Tamiami) within one hour or less of closing-time may be denied Permission
to Land or diverted to another international airport with CBP Supervisory approval.
• Request for permission to land and/or advance notice of arrival or any updates for Miami Executive Airport (Tamiami)
after hours can be directed to Miami General Aviation Center.
