Hours of Service for Entrance 
and Clearance 
Inspection services for the entrance/
arrival of aircraft at Orlando-Sanford 
International Airport are available 
Thursday-Monday, 1100-1900 in
 
accordance with the port's 
permission to land procedures.
Commercial aircraft operators 
departing the U.S. must obtain an
 
outbound clearance by contacting 
CBP directly. 
Permission to Land Procedures 
Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP no 
later than 24 hours prior to the desired arrival at KSFB.  
Permission to land requests must be submitted 
electronically at KSFB_GAP@cbp.dhs.gov followed by a 
phone call to confirm receipt of email.  No reservations will 
be taken telephonically.
Permission to land is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 
30 minutes.  If your ETA deviates outside those 
parameters, Previously granted permission(s) are invalid 
and you must contact CBP to re-secure permission to land.

Inspection Process 
• Upon landing inform the FAA tower of need to clear CBP.
• Tower will direct aircraft to the GAF ramp; aircraft to park inside the RED BOX at GAF ramp.
• A CBP officer will arrive at the aircraft to escort occupants inside the GAF.
• All baggage must be brought inside GAF by passengers/crew.
• Be prepared to present passports, visas, pilot’s license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, and
user fee decal (if appropriate).
• Regulated waste/garbage will be collected by CBP from the aircraft crew if no approved ground
handler contracted.
• Passengers and crew will be escorted back to the aircraft by CBP personnel.
Special Procedures/Miscellaneous 
• All requests for flights outside normal hours of operation are considered on a case by case basis.
• E-mail and APIS transmission followed by a phone call no later than 24 hours prior to the desired
arrival. E-mail to include the following: Overflight approval (y/n), CBP decal number, full itinerary, air
carrier bond if commercial flight, pilot/operator contact info.
• There is no international FBO at SFB. All GA aircraft must clear at the CBP General Arrivals Facility
(GAF).
• ALL dogs (including service animals) arriving in the United States by air (private or charter) must be
accompanied by receipt of the CDC Dog Import Form receipt.
